We currently offer two focused, career-building programs. Both are designed to be flexible, comprehensive, and as practical as possible.
Pediatric Dental Assistant Program
This program focuses on everything you need to know to work in a pediatric dental office. You will learn how to help with child patients, assist in procedures, handle X-rays, manage tools, and keep everything clean and safe. Working with kids takes patience and heart, and we will help you develop both.
Orthodontic Assistant Program
If you want to work with braces, retainers, and straightening smiles, our orthodontic assistant program teaches you everything. You will learn the basics of tooth movement and appliance fittings, and adjustments. You will gain a deep understanding of orthodontic tools and techniques while practicing right inside a real orthodontic clinic.

- How to prepare patients and assist dentists during procedures
- Proper sterilization and infection control techniques
- How to take dental X-rays safely and accurately
- How to polish teeth and assist in cleanings
- Front office basics: scheduling, records, and insurance

- Orthodontic procedures like placing and removing braces, adjusting wires, and using dental tools

Affording Your Education

Financial Aid & Grants
If our program earns accreditation (which we are actively working on), you may qualify for federal Pell Grants, which can cover up to $7,395 per year.
You may also be eligible for:
- Arizona’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding
- Scholarships from organizations like the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and the American Dental Association (ADA)
- In-house scholarships offered by the academy
